So I got a smoking pan for my birthday, how to use it?

Heat the pan on high for about five minutes. Place the wood chips in the center of the pan. Continue heating until the wood starts to smoke. Place the little plate on the wood. Place the salmon on the round wire rack and season with salt and herbs you like. When the wood starts to smoke, set the rack with the salmon on it into the pan. Cover tightly and reduce heat to low. Cook for about 10 minutes.
